Over my extensive 15+ years in management, a recurring observation has been the common practice of promoting employees from execution roles to leadership positions based solely on their performance. Unfortunately, what often accompanies this upward mobility is a notable absence of adequate leadership training, leaving these individuals ill-prepared for success in their newfound roles. It's essential to recognize that the skill set vital for effective leadership—inspiring, energizing, and guiding a team—is distinct from that needed for production-oriented roles. This oversight frequently results in leaders grappling with their responsibilities and experiencing a sense of deflation.
In response to this prevalent challenge, my leadership training program intervenes to bridge this gap.
